and was found less than an hour later, stabbed three times, yet surrounded by almost no blood.

The three men who lived there claimed an intruder slipped in and out unnoticed.

But detectives quickly doubted that story.

There were no signs of forced entry, and the scene appeared disturbingly staged.

Paramedics described the housemates as freshly showered, calm, and unhelpful,

while a kitchen knife, too clean to be the murder weapon sat by the bed.

With no physical evidence tying anyone of the killing, prosecutors could only charge the men

with obstruction and evidence tampering, and all were later acquitted. So what the hell really
