Summary

A part-time romance novelist in Portland, Oregon has cooked up a scheme to get away with murder. Luckily, Dateline's avocado toast of the town Josh Mankiewicz has a healthy appetite for truth and is on the scene to spill the garbanzo beans on this murder investigation. When beloved teacher, Dan Brophy is found shot in his cooking school, detectives don't have to forage for clues long before Dan's wife Nancy's shell of a story starts to crack.
