Beth McNamara is a Los Angeles-based television and documentary producer with over 25 years of experience in content development and production of more than 100 hours of entertainment garnering her two Emmy Nominations. Beth co-produced the 2018 Sundance documentary feature: INVENTING TOMORROW which won multiple awards including a 2019 Peabody. Currently, Beth is the Creator and Executive Producer of the multi-season investigative podcast: MURDER AT RYAN’S RUN which does a 50-year deep dive into the Philadelphia-based group known as MOVE. 0:39.2	The societal ramifications of the Holocaust, for example, likely factor into why we have so many listeners in Germany and in Israel,

1:05.6	I've mentioned before that we have a strong listenership in Eagle Mountain, Utah, a suburban

1:12.6	large population of Mormon polygamists. There are many other examples of places where we have a high
1:19.4	listenership that either have a history of cultic influence or are suddenly inundated with followers
1:25.4	of a dangerous group. A particularly fascinating example of
1:30.0	this phenomenon is our listenership in Vanuatu, a small group of islands in Oceania, where we have had
1:38.8	over 2,000 downloads in the past couple of years. This is an extremely remote and isolated location with a
1:47.1	culture that still has remnants of the John from Cargo Cult. For those unfamiliar with the concept of a
1:55.0	cargo cult, which is actually a fairly antiquated term, it is essentially a belief system in which a group of people
2:02.9	in an isolated indigenous society imitate the behaviors, rituals, and symbols associated with
2:10.2	technologically advanced societies, particularly those characterized by transportation and material
2:16.6	wealth, in the apparent hope of attracting
