Hey everybody, Rob Maurer here, and today we're talking about some new comments from

Sandy Monroe about his time with Elon Musk recently, turns out they spent a little bit

more time together than just that 45 minute interview that we saw.

Alright, so a couple weeks back we talked about the takeaways from Sandy Monroe's interview

of Elon Musk.

When recapping that trip recently on Monroe Live, Sandy Monroe did share a little bit more

detail about that trip and his conversations with Musk.

He said they were able to take a two hour tour of the SpaceX facilities, do the interview,

and then after that Musk invited them to stay for a design review, which was an additional

couple of hours.

Here's the key quote from Monroe about that design review, he said quote,

I was blown away, I've seen dozens of CEOs, I've never seen a CEO ever, or a president

that knew more about the product, that knew the details of the product, that could bring

an idea and discuss it, not in just grandiose hand-waving terms, but hey, let's use this

formula and rattle off a formula or rattle off a material or rattle off a process that

is kind of obscure unless you're a detail engineer.

I was blown away by that, that kind of stuff you don't see executives know much about,

end quote.
