Maower. Today we've got a lot of little topics to cover, many of which come to us

from Elon on Twitter. Tesla stock on Monday with a pretty strong day relative

to the markets finishing down just 0.12% to $294.84,

this compared to the NASDAQ down 1.43%.

First up today, a couple of pieces of product news coming from Elon on Twitter.

In a reply to a tweet that had an image of a really, really badly

keyed up model three hood asking about when dash cam functionality

would be integrated. Elon said, quote, good news on this front.

Tesla engineering rallied and this will be part of version nine, going through final testing now, end quote.

He also clarified that this will be in the initial release of the version

nine software, albeit in beta mode and improved in version 9.1. From a September 5th,

musk tweet, we know that Tesla is targeting to release the

version 9 software to early access testers right around now with a broader release

towards the end of the month. I think this is a super exciting feature for Tesla to be adding. A good

dash cam system can cost a couple hundred dollars. For this to be fully and

seamlessly integrated with eight cameras in a Tesla autopilot two vehicle, I think

there is a lot of real value there.

Aside from just the cool factor of having that be able to be added

to your vehicle post-delivery via an over-the-air update.
