0:31.8	to say that I'm a sober alcoholic.
0:34.5	I'm also very happy and grateful to be able to say that many years ago I came to believe
0:39.3	that a power greater than myself could restore me to sanity and at that time I made a decision
0:44.2	to turn my will and my laugh over to the care of God as I understand Him.
0:47.8	Still struggling to do that every day but I made that decision and I'm working on it.
0:51.4	I'm also very happy and grateful to be able to say that on a daily basis I'm seeking
0:57.8	to improve my conscious contact with God as I understand Him today but I wasn't always
1:02.9	like that and I'm going to come back to that in a moment.
1:05.3	Our topic today is one ultimate authority and I want to try and stick to that topic.
1:09.6	I'm not just going to tell you about my laugh except as it relates to that topic.
1:13.9	One ultimate authority and this obviously comes from the second tradition who are group
1:18.3	purposes there's but one ultimate authority, a loving God as He may express Himself in
1:22.5	our group conscience.
1:23.9	Our leaders of our trusted servants I do not govern and I want to say now that I absolutely
1:28.9	believe that those early AA members, those guards that wrote the 12 steps wrote the big
1:34.0	book wrote those 12 traditions that they were inspired by this very same loving God
