Everyone, my name is Myron, I'm an alcoholic.

It's an honor to be a part of this conference and to know all of you guys, so thank you.

So what's kind of been on my heart since or what's just kept coming up, which to me is

the intuitive thought of what to talk about and these two, like calamity with serenity,

that's what keeps coming up to me.

And I've heard it mentioned a couple times throughout the weekend, you know, but it says

we are in the world to play the role he assigns, just to the extent that we do as we think

he would have us and humbly rely on him, does he enable us to match calamity with serenity?

And calamity means an event causing great and often sudden damage or distress, a disaster.

I mean, I was calamity.

Like, everything was like anything that happened in my life while I was drinking was like, it

was a calamity.

It was just like, I am very emotional and I overreact in sobriety.

So imagine before, like, everything was just like, I would crumble and fall apart and

not know how to deal and I didn't, so I just drank.

So basically, I mean, you all know what it was like before, I don't need to talk about

that.
