Hello and while I'm an alcoholic, it's good to be here, it's good to get out of the

house.

I have a five-month-old baby so I don't get out after dark anymore and then I'm up all

night so it's great.

Hi, let's see, I got sober July 16, 2009 so I'm coming up on my 10-year anniversary here

pretty soon but hasn't happened yet and I actually have, I was just thinking I have spoken

at this meeting like many, many years ago and at the other location and the main speaker

was a professional comedian and I just felt like, I just felt so inadequate and I even

said I was convinced that everyone was judging me but here's how far I've come, I'm convinced

that everyone's thinking about themselves right now so they're probably not gonna remember

what I even said anyways.

So anyways, it's been a journey and it's crazy, like right now I don't do AA as much as

I did before, probably when I spoke before, when I first started coming into the rooms

I was like, you know, a little slow to start but then I came all the time like it was

my hobby, it was my social life, it was everything to me and you know, through the years I kind

of look at it as a long-term relationship, you know, we, there's like the honeymoon phase

then you fight and break up and then you get back together and that's just how AA has
