I heard someone say when I first got here that really stuck with me, like you don't have

to drink or do drugs anymore if you don't want to, and that's what I needed to hear when

I came in.

So I'll start at the beginning.

I grew up in a pretty normal household.

I had two parents at the rank.

I thought that it was all right to do because everyone else's parents, all my friends'

parents' drinks or anything, they didn't seem out of the ordinary.

They fought a lot and only got physical a couple times, but even still from a young age

I had to learn how to be a mediator to two adults, and first I had to get my daughter,

my sister, out of harm's way, just in case it did get physical.

So eventually that marriage disintegrates, and you know I'm super, I wasn't happy, but

I was relieved that it was finally over.
