All right, well time for some Mulligans on season predictions.

I think I'm in any of you.

As it turns out, we are now, what is this, a week and a half in as we record this late Sunday night pacific time?

Yeah, especially because most teams didn't start until Wednesday, so I would say week and a half is more fair than two weeks.

So I guess where we can start is just with how we see things in terms of the tears breaking out in both conferences,

who we see as playoff contenders, who we don't.

So I wanted to go through and say who we see as locks for the playoffs, who we put as probable,

then I have decent chance, slight chance and out for sure.

So let's start in the West.

Who do you have right now as your playoff locks and how does that differ if at all from your preseason prediction?

I don't think that the locks group is particularly different.

So the rockets, the clippers, the nuggets, the lakers, all of those were, as long as they stay reasonably healthy.

So you've got the nuggets as a lock right now?

Yeah, I think I still do for right now.

For me, also part of it and this happens is that when teams don't play particularly well and still keep winning games,

that actually makes me sometimes feel more confident in them.

That's always tough, isn't it?

It is.

You're just like, they're not playing as well as we thought, but they're still kind of winning.

It's like, they'll figure it out or no.

Sometimes they really don't.

Yeah.
