We praise him, we send blessings and salutations upon Muhammad

Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam, all those who were sent

in order to remove mankind from darkness to light, to guide them to show the light

that the Almighty had placed for us.

We send blessings upon the companions of all those messengers at that same time.

We ask the Almighty to bless every one of us.

I mean my brothers and sisters, we're speaking of tolerance.

And this international tolerance convention comes at a very, very important time

where there are people who are misunderstood,

more so the Muslims and Islam being misunderstood, the Prophet Muhammad,

peace be upon him, being misunderstood.

We, being the followers of Muhammad, peace be upon him,

find it difficult sometimes to explain to people that what is happening

by a small number of people is not actually the teaching of Muhammad, peace be upon him.

We have been in existence for perhaps more than 1400 years,

as followers of Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam,

although Islam existed from the very beginning, people ask,

what do you mean Islam existed from the beginning,

but the followers of Muhammad, peace be upon him from the time he was sent to mankind as a Prophet.
