What I saw today reminded me of John F. Kennedy's famous book, Profiles and Courage,

but he would be in the chapters of profiles in cowardice.

Dennis, I can't really disagree with that particularly on the obstruction front.

I think that Mueller is entirely wrong. I think he's using the LLC, the Office of Legal

Council guidance that says that a sitting president cannot be indicted as a rationalization for not making a

decision that it was his obligation to make.

It's always the obligation of the prosecutor who was assigned to the investigation

to make a decision about whether charges should be filed or not. And then if you decide

that there's enough evidence to bring charges if the

Justice Department at that point wants to step in for policy reasons and say

that the president can't be charged and it's on the justice department to do that but it was

for Mueller to make that decision and I think what he's done here is underscore what

certainly what I've been saying for a couple of years and what I think a number of other people have said and that is this was always an impeachment inquiry

So what he's done is he's basically said here's my evidence, I'm a prosecutor, I'm not supposed to lay
