In China, the Communist Party is facing the largest and most widespread protests since

1989. Those protests sparked by the country's strict zero-COVID policy have been intensified.

In the city of Wanzhou, protesters clashed with riot police overnight. Video shows some of the

officers taking handcuffed protesters to an unknown location.

Police have also been seen searching phones for pictures or messages or apps that might lead them to demonstrators.

In a statement late yesterday, China's Communist Party vowed to crack down on the infiltration and sabotage
