If it's Wednesday, we've got quite a bit of primary results from elections across seven states yesterday.

We're going to get there in a moment.

But for a second straight day, there was a raw and emotional and at times gut-wrenching calls for gun reforms here in Washington. In fact, we just thought it had to be moved

up and needed to see and hear some of these calls. The House Oversight Committee this morning heard

from people who've seen the carnage of gun violence up close, both in Avalde and Buffalo.

What you're about to hear is some of the recorded

testimony of 11-year-old Avalde shooting survivor Maya Sorillo about what she saw happen in her classroom

at Rob Elementary School. Take a listen. There's a door between our classrooms, and he went there and shot my teacher and told my teacher good night and shot her in the head.

And then he shot some of my classmates and the whiteboard.

When I went to the backp, he shot my friend that was next to me,

and I thought he was going to come back to the room,

so I grabbed the blood and put it all on me.
