And with midterm election day exactly four months away,

the White House right now is navigating two of the most potent political issues in America,

abortion rights and the economy,

facing intense pressure from Democrats to take bolder action in response to the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade reversal. The president today signed an executive

order aimed at protecting access to certain reproductive health care services, including

access to abortion, where it's still legal and contraceptives.

In his remarks, the president took direct aim at the Supreme Court, labeling it as, quote,

out of control and criticizing its decision as wrongheaded and extreme.
