We're going to begin with the latest out of Memphis as the city and the country brace for the release of body camera footage that's going to show the traffic stop and beating of Tyree Nichols by five now former police officers who have been

charged with second degree murder. The video is scheduled to be released to the public at 7 p.m.

Eastern tonight. Nichols was 29 years old, an avid skateboarder, was a father. He worked for FedEx,

big part of the Memphis fabric, by the way, and was remembered as a near

perfect son by his mother. On January 7th, police initiated a traffic stop on Nichols. He was

subsequently beaten, and he would die in the hospital three days later. Details about what actually

very slow to be disclosed by officials. But here's what we do know at this time. As I mentioned,

those five former police officers were charged yesterday with second-degree murder and at least six

other assault-related charges, including aggravated kidnapping. All of them are out on bail. We've heard from Memphis

police chief, C.J. Davis, that officers violated their training during this interaction with Nichols.

They used excessive force, and they did not provide adequate first aid. Davis told my colleague
