We begin today with what appears to be the largest wave of Russian strikes on Ukraine in weeks.

A barrage of missiles was launched at cities across Ukraine, the latest in a series of Russian attacks, targeting the country's power stations and other critical infrastructure.

Now, according to Ukraine's armed forces, the attack began with exploding drones,

followed by 69 missiles, 54 of which were shot down.

Multiple explosions rocked the capital city of Kiev.

Now, according to Kiev's mayor, 40% of households in the capital city were without power earlier today.

In the western city of Leviv, the mayor said that 90% of his city is without electricity and

for a peace summit hosted by the United Nations under the condition that Moscow submit to a war

crimes tribunal. Russia's foreign ministry is calling that proposal, quote, hollow and delirious.
