in the wrong direction. Tell me what was happening with you and your husband. Well, we have a long

history of messing stuff up, actually. We're pretty good at it. It started back when we were

just coming out of high school and thought, hey, let's all go, let's go to college. How do you go to

college with student loans? And, hey, when we get out of college, you know what we should do?

Buy new cars. How do you buy a new car with this car loan? And it just spiraled from there.

I mean, we just went ahead and financed life the way we thought we should. But that's funny.

In your defense, that's what everybody around you is doing too, right?

Yeah, actually, until I met some other personal finance bloggers, I didn't know anybody who didn't have any debt.
