I'm so excited to be here.

One of the topics that we're going to talk about today

that I get asked about a lot is how to raise a financially fit kid. So I'm really excited to get

the tips from you and hear how you're doing it in your own life. Yeah. I, you know, I'm one of those

people. I say all the time, I didn't hear about money from my parents. And I actually recorded a podcast

episode a while back with my dad about, it was a Father's Day episode. So it was a year ago now. And I asked

him specifically, I'm like, dad, you know, you never talked to me about money. Why not? And he said,

well, I just didn't think you needed to know about it. Like, that was the mentality.

And I've talked to my mom separately.

My parents are divorced.

And my mom said, well, I didn't know anything about money.

So I felt like I had nothing to share with you.

You know, like, I mean, I could tell you everything that not to do.

So they had different, different philosophies of why not to talk to me as a kid about money.

But at the end of the day, neither of them talked to me about money.

And I had to learn a lot of times the hard way.

And now as a parent and financial planner, I have a 10-year-old son.
