I'm very happy to have with me a buddy of mine, David Holland, who has actually been a guest on my radio show, Goldstein on Gelt.

Dave is interesting because he is kind of like my twin brother. We both

started in the field at the same time. We both are on the radio and we both help people with

personal finance. Dave, real pleasure to have you. Oh, thank you, Doug. My pleasure. I'm excited to

be with you and, you know, people can't hear too much about the importance of planning ahead

because, well, when things happen, they say, oh, gosh, I wish I had a plan.

Here's the problem. You and I are kind of planning geeks. We always talk about it. We talk about budgeting and

planning for the future and retirement planning. But let's cut to the chase here. The markets have

truly been crazy recently. And I'm noticing that the interviews I do with people on my show about the crazy

markets get a lot of hits. And I think it's because people are really nervous about that.

So if you have to sort of look at both sides of the market, there are those who are the pessimists

and those who are the optimist, just for a minute. Put on the shoes of a pessimist and tell me

when people are saying things are going bad, why are
