So can you talk about maybe from the very get-go,

what got you into the whole personal finance world

and what really got you interested and now has turned into this website

and all the things you do online?

Well, believe it or not, how I got started in personal finance investing started in

sixth grade. I have just always been interested in it. I was the one, near the group of adults that were talking investments.

And in sixth grade, my stepfather took me to buy my very first stock. And basically, that hooked me.

From there, I got my undergrad in finance. I got my MBA. I've worked in a crazy amounts of

finance field. So I've worked corporate finance, specifically doing a lot of like the budgeting

and forecasting for a couple of big companies. And I've worked in taxes. I've worked in banking. I did mortgages for a while.

And then I worked in investments, but actually in the back office, like processing, not actually

selling, which I preferred for my personality. And eventually kind of got tired of corporate
