Hello and welcome to the Think Bike podcast. I'm Mike Casmer. I'm joined by Dario de Julio and that's it. It's just us today.

And the spirit of mountain biking. Yeah, the spirit of mountain biking is with us. Small crew. We got some people out on vacation. It's a holiday in Canada. And yeah, but we can do it. Just two two of us we got plenty to talk about we think

some new new bikes talk about some little gadgets for your derailers and yeah we get some questions

all kinds of good things i would ask you how your weekend was dario and i still can but we both

went riding together on the weekend we did a rare treat and a fantastic weekend of mountain biking.

It was so good.

It's been pretty wintery here, but this weekend was sunny and warm, and it only rained

a little bit, and it was so good.

It's kind of wet, but it's not wet enough that it's that scary.

You can still do hard trails and not be afraid for your life, which is sweet. I'm really enjoying it. It's, yeah. And our group ride, I was thinking about Henry. I thought about Henry on our group ride. I was thinking about Henry on our group ride because he has that, he used to have that distaste for group rides. he would always say how he hated them. And I agree with him a little bit. You know, like a massive group rise, not my favorite thing.

our group ride it just accidentally turned into a group dialed yeah there's seven of us with zero

like zero issues of any kind like nobody even had to touch yeah zeros, zero stoppage that felt unnecessary. No faf. It was just like,

we just all rode in sync for three hours. It was great. Yeah, just like a boy band out there,

instinct. I don't know. You don't always get that, but it's pretty sick. Yeah, that's good. That's kind of

why you got to pick good partners, good riding buddies to ride with. You know, like once you get your crew dial, that's pretty sweet. But sometimes when you get in newcomers to the mix, that's when it gets weird. And then people have 12 flat tires and their bikes break and stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, it was sick. Um, good time to be out in the woods. I'm pretty happy with the weather right now.

It's sunny again today. Yes, I'm happy. We'll probably have to do some more riding. But first, we should talk about some news and odds and ends that happened this past week. We could start with a little tiny thing, the bike yolk shifty two. That's a tiny, tiny gadget.

I know, really important.
