The daily briefing slides are typically delivered electronically on secure iPads and are

not usually printed out.

If they are printed, then investigators can track where they were printed from.

They have to be printed on secure printers and are often numbered.

They are distributed to between 1,000 and 5,000 people with appropriate clearances.

Wow, that was something we've learned in the last couple of days.

So the worst leak of intelligence from our government, specifically the Pentagon in this

case in decades, turns out up to 5,000 people may have had access to this information.

Do 5,000 people need to have access to stuff that's important enough it can change the

course of a war?

Not to mention our relations with key allies.
