Now yesterday on Monday a lot of MSU players jumped into the portal including

Kate and Houser and Sam Leavitt a lot of offensive linemen so I was kind of wondering what happened.

So I called a current player on the team

and just asked what happened in that meeting and the player told me

because I was like,

did he walk in like

Dion Sanders and say you know I brought my own luggage I brought my own luggage and

my luggage is Louis meaning I got my own players here and you guys could hit the bricks and

then it was like the antithesis of that it was the exact

opposite he said no he came in and he was very nice and he said that he realized the state had

talent that it was going to be open and that he was going to try to figure out and find the best people for the job.

So I don't know why the mass exodus yesterday unless a lot of the players just decided that maybe I need to find out what my best options are going to be.

A lot of names that went into the portal for MSU doesn't mean they're going to stay in the portal.

It just means that Coach Smith is going to have to re-recruit some of his players, but these are the players keeping themselves, keeping their options open.

But it was just kind of ironic, so I needed to know what happened.

So that's what happened. He didn't walk in there, he didn't walk in and try to kick players out. These players just decided they wanted to see what their best options are going to be. Players pull their names out of the portal all the time.

Heck, you saw that earlier this year with number eight.

And he went in and then Semy and Burrell said,

I'm deciding to come back a couple days later

after he talked to Coach Izzo. And even though he knew this team wasn't going

anywhere he went out there and gave his all to the Penn State game so it's gonna be interesting to see who
