Summary

Mr. Owl does not want pie. Not even a bite. At least, that's what he keeps telling everyone and that's what he keeps telling himself. Only, it isn't true. He has tried to follow Dr. Owlington's orders, but it is getting rather difficult. And when Mrs. Owl announces her plan to bake Mr. Owl's very favorite kind of pie for an upcoming charity bake sale, Mr. Owl cannot stop his beak from watering. But he wouldn't eat the pie...or would he? Listen to find out what happens in this heartwarming, entertaining tale of Mr. Owl's battle with himself over a mulberry rhubarb pie topped with cricket crumble. This month marks the 10th anniversary of Little Stories for Tiny People! Parents and caregivers: if you have found value in my stories, please consider sharing the podcast with a friend and leaving a rating or review in your favorite podcast app! Thank you to LEO, ZACH, and RUBY for the super important reminder message at the beginning! And thank you, especially, to all my listeners--those who have been here for years and those who found my stories just this afternoon. THANK YOU! Dear Ria, it has come to our attention that you are not even planning to mention that this week marks the 10th anniversary of your frog cast.

0:57.0

I'm pretty sure they mean podcast.

Moving on.

1:02.0

How dare you?

1:04.0

How dare you not say a word about 10 whole years of stories?

1:10.0

Huh. Sincerely, the studio spiders. You know what, I'm not even sure any of this is true.

1:19.2

Let me just do a little math. I started the podcast in August of 2015, which means, hold on. Let me write this down. Okay. Hmm. 2015 plus what equals 2025.

1:43.1

I'm no mathematician, but it's true. Somehow, I don't know how. The podcast is 10 years old.

1:55.2

Well, there you go. I mentioned it. Okay, happy. But 10 years or not, it's time for a story. It's called Mr. Owls

2:08.7

Pie. Take it away, Leo, Zach, and Ruby. Remember, there are no pictures. You have to imagine

the pictures in your mind.

2:18.0

You can imagine them however you want.
