There were only two men on the writing staff, like me and my brother.

And like I was working on another show at the same time,

and my brother was also on that one, so we were going back for, so like,

usually it was like all women like writing all the the episodes okay let's talk about

Mr and Mrs Smith the new series streaming on Amazon Prime that as you can tell by the title was I believe the term they're

using inspired by the 2005 film of the same name starring Brad Pitt and

Angelina Jolie and by the way in case you haven't seen the 2005 film,

first off, I highly recommend it.

But just so we're all on the same page,

that movie is actually about two assassins

who fall in love not knowing that the other is in fact also an assassin.

So they end up getting married and obviously that marriage involves a huge amount of deception

in that they don't actually know that the other is an assassin and they don't even

know their real names. And so eventually after years of marriage their rival agencies end up

finding out who their agent or their assassin is married to, basically a competitor, and so they each

plan to kill the couple.

And the film then has John and Jane having to work together to survive and in the process they also end up

rekindling their romance which had somewhat dwindled after years of monotonous

marriage. It's a fun film and in case you guys like weren't around when it was being released and

marketed the chemistry between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is pretty crazy in

fact it's so crazy it arguably led to the divorce between Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston because that's when he met Angelina Jolie, who of course he would then go on to marry.
