Hi Amanda. Hi Bill. The plot of this movie and an unemployed Detroit

engineer becomes a state-home dad and takes care of three young children after his wife lands a job

and returns to the advertising business as an executive at a big advertising agency.

It's hard to imagine that this was a groundbreaking premise but it actually kind of was in 1983.

I hadn't seen this before in anything. It's like, wait, the wife's going to work and the

dad's going to stay home. I was actually surprised at how normal it seemed in the context of the movie

because it's made in 1983. What we know now about kind of role reversals in the 80s. There were a lot

of things still in development, right? In terms of moms going to work, dad staying at home. That was

a new concept. There's tapped into it. Yeah. So it's kind of you're going to the original source code.

It's like we have this idea of Mr. Mom in our head. That's like a catchphrase, right?

But this invented it. Essentially. Actually invented it. Yeah. It is true. So there's some stuff going

on here from the 80s that I just as a child of the 80s have to go through. First of all,
