Tonight I am so honoured to be joined by Leanne Mape and Leanne's story is one of horror, resilience, inspiration, but it's also one that I really urge you all to listen to.

The failures Leanne has encountered are unbelievable and I'm absolutely thrilled that Leanne

has joined me tonight to take you through her story in her words for the first time.

Hi Lauren and thank you for having me. I'm really happy to be

here to be able to get a chance to speak out and feeling quite nervous as well at the same time.

You've got nothing to be nervous about and I can assure you that the channel, there's a lot of support for victims and survivors

and tonight you'll do your story and your words in your time so we are here to support you

and yeah you've got nothing to be nervous about and if at any time you do want to stop, you can just let me know.

Yeah, fine. So we, I want to give readers, readers, listeners rather, a little bit of context.

So Leanne was following my Instagram and I had put up something about the weaponisation of money, power and influence.

And if you watch my shows, you'll know that this is an area that I am very keen to amplify

and to give victims and survivors a voice and a platform.

Leanne messaged under one of the posts that I did, I've been trying to get my story out since 1998 and went into

some of that. So we then spoke and have been speaking for a little bit of time. What you will hear

during this interview, I have to say it is allegedly because there has not been a conviction in a criminal court of law.

However, what I want to tell you in my experience, as someone that has worked in PR and media for two decades,

do not discount things that haven't made it through to a criminal court. And I say that because I believe

that day in, day out, around the world, money, power, influence means that people like Leanne

do not get justice. Now that is my opinion, but I have to say allegedly, for obviously legal reasons, but I would urge you to
