Highway in Nevada and good Lord, a peak mile per hour of 331.

Really good to catch up with Ollie.

It had been a few years.

Got to know him a little bit about a decade ago when he was running in the American Indie Lights Championship, trying to become an IndyCar driver, then went to sports cars, became a champion there.

Has been a regular at the 24 hours of LaMaw, I think made seven starts there in the top LMP One class. This is a guy who does an amazing amount of work,

as you'll hear, for quite a few auto manufacturers, most of them in the boutique range,

but this is a guy who I'm telling you, if you're talking about a dream life that involves

supreme race car driving at some of the world's greatest events,

plus some of the craziest, most fearsome road cars on the planet today.

He intersects with both and does even more stunt driving, movie stuff, etc., etc.

So it was great to catch up with Ollie, Spent about 40 minutes or so on the phone,

didn't dive directly into the SSC record-breaking attempt.

Wanted to walk through his racing career

and move forward a bit through his sports car stuff,

both of which integral in his ability to do what he did with the good folks at SSC.
