Summary

It's another packed episode of The Week In IndyCar Listener Q&A show, all driven by questions submitted via social media.   A sampling of the items posed this week (Q&A begins at the 22m00s mark in the episode):   "Of the drivers you seen throughout the years what driver made the best use of their sponsorship airtime for being slow? I use Jay Hill from 92 Detroit race as example. While off pace his Coke sponsor car would appear in the background and foreground on TV cameras finishing a serviceable 13th in his only career start."   "With Portland and Laguna cancelled; there will now be 5 races as well as Indy 500 qualifying and practice in 22 days in August; given the likelihood of high temperatures at most races. Is this asking too much of drivers and mechanics just to get a meaningful season done?"   "Why, instead of doing double headers of WWT and Mid-Ohio after the cancellation of the west coast races, couldn't IndyCar visit a couple ovals that NASCAR has, like Kansas or Kentucky, just for a change of pace? I do enjoy Mid-Ohio and WWT, I just feel like this would be a decent time to experiment."   Subscribe: https://marshallpruettpodcast.com/subscribe Join our Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/MarshallPruettPodcast

because I hate redundancies.

0:24.7

So when folks say me personally or I personally, it just makes my eyes cross.

0:31.5

Nonetheless, I refer to my week and IndyCar listener Q&A show as my unpolished turd

0:38.5

among all of the shows

0:40.2

that I put out.

0:41.4

Why?

0:42.1

Well, keep all the mistakes,

0:44.6

the mispronunciations,

0:46.3

the malapropisms,

0:48.1

because it's a true representation

0:50.0

of who I am,

0:51.4

a highly flawed person.

0:52.9

And I embrace it,

0:55.1

hopefully you will too.

0:59.9

For those who are longtime listeners or even semi-new listeners,

1:03.0

hopefully enjoy the nonsense that we do here,

1:09.3

all driven by your submissions coming in through Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook. If you are brand new, there are indeed far more polished Q&A type IndyCar shows.

1:18.2

If you like things that are just really quick and tight and punchy and whatever,
