So I was dead convinced when I went to bed Friday night, January 23rd, 26, night before the Rolex 24th, Daytona.

Just experienced, we had all experienced one of the craziest days of IndyCar in this century at least.

It was awoken about 6 a.m. with texts saying, hey, the McLaren versus Palo verdict is in.

$12 million or so is what Alex is going to have to pay or is on the hook for at least.

We'll get into that in just a minute.

And oh, that wasn't enough.

Then not too long after a few hours later, President Trump releases what I think is going to end up

being the 18th Indycar race on the calendar, the Grand Prix of D.C. District of Columbia or Freedom

250 or whatever it might end up being called. A little bit more about that here coming up in a

moment. But indeed, I'm thinking, okay, there's no way

we get this Alex Palo McLaren verdict and super AI race announcement on the same day. How could

that be? We can never top that. And then, yeah, five days later or so, six days later,

I get a text from Tim Sindrick saying,

hey, man, able to chat, of course, and gives me a pretty interesting preamble saying,

you know, when I settled things with Roger and left, obviously, left Team Penske, told them,

you know, I don't really know if I'm going to come back and do this anymore.

I've been doing this forever.

I probably need to do something new. Not really interested in just kind of repeat in the same old, same old. So I doubt you'll see me back. Got to the end of the year and realized, you know, I really missed the competition side. decided to reach out and let them know, let them be the first to know,

hey, I am going to come back and let them know, let them be the first to know,

hey, I am going to come back, got some offers, still deciding what? Tim Sindrick's going back

to Team Penske, y'all. So again, I am convinced we have just experienced one of the wildest

six-day spans in IndyCar, and I don't know how long, and that's not it. We got more to talk
