Well, no, okay, not FBI. But we do have FIA. So why don't we start with the FIA we'll go reverse order here

an announcement here this being on Wednesday that hey the FIA after years of getting hollered at

by what feels like rational people for IndyCar you need to award more super license points, better super license points.

For our folks finishing the championship, the winner each year gets 40 points. What do you need to get

a license to drive a Formula One car to get approval to do that? 40 points. That gets you a super

license for F1. Win IndyCar Championship, you get 40 points. So that's great. Alex Palo, one of the best posts of the year, just mentioned he's got two for sale, totally unused. But in the cry here of like, hey, come on, the folks who finished first, second, and third each year in Formula 2 get enough super license points to race in Formula 1.

Are you trying to say the person who finishes second, third, whichever an IndyCar does not warrant the same ability to get enough points to get into F1?

That hasn't changed.

If you win the IndyCar Championship, you get right in, get the points.

There's also a cumulative effect here as well, right?

They'll add up how many you get over X amount of years, not infinite, but get over that threshold.

Well, so they've added five points here, five points there.

Effectively what this change has done.

And I appreciate a couple of you, kind listeners who said, we need to do an emergency

podcast about this topic specifically.

I don't know if I feel the same way.

The changes they've made will help drivers in IndyCar who do well in the championship, but
