Coming off of a good weekend, last weekend, IMSA's annual kind of BOP-type test,

benchmarking test at Daytona, get a feel for cars, evolutions that they might have,

bodywork changes, new models and whatnot. I want to talk about that here in just a moment,

but really wanted to open with regulatory news that I loved coming out of last weekend's event.

New things published for 2026,

of the things that I hear that we could call complaints,

legitimate complaints from IMSA fans, some drivers, and you name it is,

boy, sometimes in these longer races,

we can have a lot of cautions and really long caution.

So knowing that you receive that input, tweak to the rules.

And I want to have you explain this to folks.

You have both the short, full course yellow program and the long, call it regular full course yellow program for 2026 to try and shorten some of these up.

Tweet to the policy saying, hey, within the first 30 minutes of the race, if there's any kind of caution, which is when they tend to happen, it's going to be a short process.

We're not doing the long, drawn out one.

And within 15 minutes of going back to green, any cautions there? What's the old line? Cautions, breed cautions. We're not going to do the long process. We're going to go short, full course, yellow procedure. There's some caveats. If it ends up taking longer, you might go to the full one. But tell folks about that adjustment because it seems like if there's one new thing fan should be happy about regulations-wise for 2026. This feels like a big thing.
