Parents worry about so many things. When you have kids, it's like part of your heart is walking around outside of you! But Christ commands us not to worry. In this podcast, we ask: what is worth the mental and emotional energy of concern on your part, and what is not? We also discuss some of the common things that parents worry about, and the Catholic response to worry.

0:14.4	So you may have thought we hit 50 and we're like, whew, we're taking a little break.
0:18.2	You know, sometimes people retire at 50.
0:20.5	Yep.
0:21.6	But this was not an early retirement for us.
0:24.2	That was an unintended break here in our messy parenting podcast.
0:28.6	We had a lot of stuff going on.
0:29.8	We had a First Communion.
0:31.3	First Communion party happened, people visiting.
0:33.7	And then this past week, we were like, okay, we're doing the podcast this weekend.
0:36.7	We're doing it. And then we woke up Sunday morning to sewage in our basement.
0:42.0	Yay. Yeah. So that's the way we wanted to celebrate our daughter's birthday and the Lord's Day.
0:47.8	Yeah, different daughter's birthday. And so it spent time cleaning that up and our car broke down and we had to have it junked, brought
0:55.4	to the junkyard.
0:57.3	But hey, we actually got $150 for it and we didn't have to pay for the toe.
1:01.4	That's right.
1:01.8	And the cicadas are coming.
1:02.9	I feel like the plague is, you know, if I believed in luck or something or superstition.
