Kespi. Today we're off to southern Africa to Mozambique and the story of Eduardo Mondlan. He was the founding father of Frillimo,

Mozambique's liberation front against Portuguese colonial rule, but he started out as an

academic and teacher.

His daughter Nelletti Bruckmonlan has been telling me why he swapped the University Library

for Gorilla Warfare and how it cost him his life.

I didn't know my father was president of freedom.

I found out after he was killed.

I hadn't a clue.

This is Niele Brooke Monlan.

She's a government minister in Mozambique and the youngest daughter of

Eduardo Monglan. He's known as the architect of National Unity in Mozambique,

having brought together different opposition groups in 1962 to form a national

resistance movement, Frilimo.

He was assassinated on February the 3rd 1969 when Noletti was just seven years old.

At my father's funeral I saw these prominent important people who were making speeches
