0:50.3 | the book, Radical Acceptance. She says, the way out of our cage begins with |

1:06.5 | wakefulness and care our moment-to-moment experience. By accepting absolutely |
1:13.8 | everything, what I mean is that we are aware of what is happening within our |
1:18.4 | body and mind in any given moment without trying to control or judge or pull |
1:24.2 | away. I do not mean we are putting up with harmful behavior, our own or |
1:30.1 | another's. This is an inner process of accepting our actual present moment |
1:35.6 | experience. It means feeling sorrow or pain without resisting. It means feeling |
1:41.6 | desire or dislike for someone or something without judging ourselves for the |
1:46.8 | feeling of being driven to act on it. Clearly recognizing what is happening |
1:52.3 | inside us and regarding what we see with an open kind and loving heart is what |
1:58.1 | I call radical acceptance. If we are holding back from any part of our |
2:03.5 | experience, if we are holding back from any part of our experience, if our heart |
2:09.4 | shuts out any part of who we are and what we feel, we are fueling the fears and |
2:14.7 | feelings of separation that sustain the trans of unworthiness. Radical |
2:21.0 | acceptance directly dismantles the very foundations of this trance. |
