while you clean. Today's episode is about moving. I'm going to talk about moving out of your old house,

into your new house, and pretty much everything that goes into that. I'm going to take you from

the planning stages to preliminary packing, final packing, kind of some organization along the way, and then how to clean the old house

and the new house. So let's get right into the episode. The only thing I'm not going to cover

is real estate staging, where you're trying to make your house look a certain way in order to sell it.

I'll cover that in a future episode.

But in this episode, I'm kind of assuming that you've either already sold the house or maybe

you're moving out of a rental house.

So this isn't really about making your house look good to prospective buyers. It's just about the actual process of moving.

So let's get right into it. The first thing you're going to want to do is figure out the dates

to the best of your ability. Now, if there's a sale or a buy involved, you're not going to have the exact dates.

If you're moving from one rental to the other, you probably know which day you're going to be out of your old house, which day you're going to be in your new house.

And ideally, there's a little bit of leeway there, so you don't have to move all in one day.

But when you're selling a house

or buying a house or both you don't really know when you're going to close so you know close escrow

close on the deal whatever you want to call it you're not really going to know that but you're

probably going to have a rough idea or an estimate,

but it might be give or take a few days.

So, you know, you do need to know roughly when you're going to move.
