And that's what so many people do.

They get hurt, and then the rest of their life

And we also have a bad habit of using our pain

as an excuse to behave badly.

We use our pain as an excuse to act badly.

Whatever happened to you wasn't your fault.

Somebody mistreated you,

treated you unjustly, took advantage of you.

There was domestic abuse,

sexual abuse, physical abuse,

abandonment, rejection,

whatever it was,

may be the reason why you have issues today, but you can't let that become an excuse to stay that way.
