Now as a result, our default status before God is guilty.

Guilt is a relentless enemy.

Most people who suffer from guilt keep their struggle very private, but it doesn't end there.

Guilt turns to shame, and shame turns to anger.

Stifling guilt is damaging to our soul.

Maybe that's what led David to say in Psalm 32, when I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away.

But here's the cure.

David said to the Lord, when I acknowledged my sin to you, Lord, you forgave the guilt of my sin.

Well, today I'm going to show you the biblical solution for guilt and shame.
