husband, American sniper, Chris Kyle, she entered a period of immense pain and grief. In the years since, both friends and

strangers have rallied around her as she gets stronger every day. Taya opens up about her grief

and shares stories from her new book called American Spirit, where she meets people all across

the country who have inspiring stories to share from famous musicians like

Zach Brown to young kids with big dreams. Here's Teia Kyle's untold story. It really has been

interesting. I've never had a day where I'm bored or anything like that because I have the Chris

Kyle Frog Foundation I work on and I've got a children series coming out later this year. Then Jim and I have been working on American Spirit for a while, American wife, we were approached for TV, limited series, right?

So in that way, I've been doing a lot of work at home and I'm mom first, I'm absorbed in kids' sports and activities and stuff.

So I think in some ways it just feels like it hasn't been, in some ways there's been a relief,

right, because we used to travel my kids and I with a teacher on the road.

And so we shifted to being home more.

That's been a nice change, and I realize that the pace is a little bit slower, which

is, I think it's good for all of us in that way.
