So obviously we need to talk about yesterday and the whole Afghanistan thing and we're about

to hear from a general that talks about the danger at this point.

But this just came across and this is maybe not the story of the day because we're talking

about 13 dead US servicemen and what that means.

But this could be the story for the next year or 10 years.

I hope not.

The inflation numbers are out.

We got another indication that the inflation is real.

We talked about this the other day.

There are economists who say, look, this is an extraordinarily odd time.

This is just a blip.

Everything will settle back down to normal as soon as supply interruptions and all this

different stuff and COVID and everything.

As soon as that's out, everything will go back to normal.

There are other economists and they're all guessing who'd say, no, no, no, no, no.

This is for real. We pumped out trillions of dollars and inflation is for real and it's

here to stay and we need to be worried.
