0:34.5	Okay, so we are going to be recapping 90s movies, but I've heard of at least one
0:40.0	person who did not watch Game of Thrones along with us or his dark material. So this is like
0:44.5	their first foray into recaps. Peter, can you help for listeners who are joining us for the first
0:51.3	time? Like, what are they in for? Well, this all began some
0:54.8	years ago when we were all working together at WBEZ, and we all realized that we liked Game of
0:59.5	Thrones, and you guys, in a remarkable act of charity, gave me a vehicle in which I could
1:04.1	gas on about it almost endlessly without alienating everybody I work with. Yeah, it was really a favor
1:09.7	we were doing for your colleagues and
1:11.6	family members who were tired of listening to you talk about Game of Thrones. Exactly. And I'm
1:16.1	very grateful and we ended up talking about four whole seasons of Game of Thrones. And then we tired of
1:19.7	you talking about Game of Thrones. Exactly. That was the challenge. Can I make them as sick of me
1:24.7	as everyone else is? And we talked about Game of Thrones with great pleasure and occasional fireworks for a few years.
1:31.5	And we discovered that basically, you know, the real Game of Thrones was the friends we made along the way.
1:37.0	And we wanted to continue to argue about things and appreciate things together.
