0:12.8

hey everyone and Chris evangelista

0:15.7

hello all right guys so I think it's probably a good idea for us to start off

0:19.9

today's episode by providing a little bit of an update,

0:23.4

albeit a confusing one, to a story

0:25.5

that we talked about on the show yesterday,

0:27.4

which is yesterday we talked about

0:29.4

how Lucasfilm was reportedly putting all of their Star Wars

0:34.0

spin-off movies on hold.

0:36.7

But it seems now like that is kind of being called into question.

0:41.1

So what happened is ABC News spoke with Lucasfilm and they're

0:46.8

now reporting that yesterday's story was quote premature and speculative and

0:51.7

that multiple non-trilogy movies are still in the works.

0:56.2

So just to be clear for anybody who maybe didn't listen to yesterday's episode,

0:59.4

the Star Wars movies, the trilogy that's being overseen by Ryan Johnson who directed the last Jedi,

and that new trilogy is supposed to deal with characters that we've never seen or heard from before in the Star Wars universe, that is still still on and another series of movies from

1:15.0

David Bennyoff and D. B. Weiss who are creators of HBO's Game of Thrones that is

1:19.9

also still on so that's what we talked about yesterday but yesterday's report said that you know movies like the

1:25.3

obiwan film and the maybe if a Yoda movie was in the works or like Boba Fett those sort of not officially announced but movies that were basically rumbled about as in terms of like being in development that those movies aren't happening but this new update says that Lucasfilm told ABC News that there are still multiple Star Wars films currently in development that have not been officially announced and those projects are moving forward separate from the ones that I just mentioned with Ryan Johnson and Benny
