historical figure and how it's dealt with in this new film. The storyline follows the biography of

Dietrich Bonhofer, who was a remarkable figure, who

very early, right after the rise to power of Adolf Hitler, took on those people who were

trying to notzify the German church, particularly the Lutheran church that was the establishment

in Prussia and elsewhere. Bonhofer came from a very distinguished family, which is shown in the

film. It begins when he is a young boy playing with his brother. That brother is later killed in World War I,

and you actually see what a devastating impact that had
