Summary
Mike and Kelsey break down a big month of movies. They share their best and worst films for the month of August which saw everything from Lindsay Lohan returning to the big screen to Mike dragging Kelsey to the horror movie of the year despite hating Halloween movies. Mike also talks about what he believes will be the worst movie of the decade. In the Movie Review, Mike talks about Caught Stealing starring Austin Butler, Regina King, Zoë Kravitz and Bad Bunny. It’s about a burned-out ex-baseball player who unexpectedly finds himself embroiled in a dangerous struggle for survival amidst the criminal underbelly of 1990s New York City, forced to navigate a treacherous underworld he never imagined. Mike talks about Austin Butler’s performance as a lead, did the movie change Mike’s perception based on the trailer and why Bad Bunny and Action Bronson stole the show. In the Trailer Park, Mike talks about Good boy. It’s a horror film told entirely from the perspective of a dog. How the internet changed the trajectory of this movie and why horror is king in 2025.
