Mania podcast feed. But no, this podcast is all about cinema, all about movies.

You guys know I'm a movie buff, so this is movie mania.

I have seen quite a few films lately. It's been good to get back into the theater.

I've been back into the theater for a while, but I know other people are really

getting back into the theater, which is good. But I have got this thing, it's called

AMCA list. I can see basically as many movies as I want. And I've been using it.

I've been getting my money's worth out of it. So I've seen quite a few films

over the last few months. And recently I really feel like it's picked up.

There's been a lot of films people have been talking about both in the theaters

as well as on Netflix and other streamers. And I just want to get my thoughts on

them and kind of the general state of the movie industry. Everything going on as

we get to this midpoint of the year. Some of you guys know I'm a big awards guy.

I love the Oscars and loved the Golden Globes. I'm not allowed to love those

anymore. And then the Sag Awards, which I have the pleasure of voting in every year.

And so I do pay a close attention to the film world and the movies that are

gaining traction. I try to see most of them if not when they come out, at least

when they come out onto streamers and things like that. But we're in the

thick of the summer. The summer is normally popcorn movies, things of that
