Thank you again for coming out today. I'd like to start with something funny.

I heard about this college professor. He was going to prove to his class that there is no God.

He said, God, if you're real, then knock me off this platform. I'm giving you 15 minutes to do it.

Every minute that went by, he taunted God. I'm still here, God. I'm waiting the last minute, 300-pound football player walking down the hallway over herding him,

came running toward him, full force, put his shoulder down, knocked the professor, sent him flying off the platform.

The professor got up in the day and said, what in the world do you do that for?

The football player replied, God said he was busy, so he sent me.

Hold your Bible up. Say it like you mean it. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have.

I can do what it says I can do. Today I will be taught the Word of God. I boldly confess my mind is alert.

My heart is receptive. I will never be the same in Jesus' name. God bless you.

I want to talk to you today about moving forward. It's easy to go through life looking in the rear-view mirror, focused on what didn't work out, on who heard us, on the mistakes we made.

If only I would have finished college. If only I would have spent more time with my children. If only that company wouldn't have laid me off after 20 years,

that's just not right. But as long as you are living in regrets, focused on the negative things of the past, it's going to keep you from the bright future of God has in store.

You have got to let go of what didn't work out. Let go of the hurts and pains. Let go of your disappointments, your failures.

You can't do anything about the past, but you can do something about right now.

Whether it happened 20 years ago or 20 minutes ago, let it go and move forward.
