Good afternoon, fellow investors and welcome back to Invest Talk.

My name is Luke Guerrero and although it seems it's been a decade since we've last met,

it's actually only been one day.

Today is Tuesday, April 8th, 2025.

Woo!

Probably the only word that comes to mind for me.

It's been quite a couple four days.

We're entering record territory.

It seems like every day.

Now I believe today might have been the largest intraday swing, perhaps.

Certainly in at least several decades, and maybe of all time, in terms of raw point total, certainly in at least several decades and maybe of all time in terms of

raw point total certainly. But we say this a lot. Things are changing. Things are moving rapidly.

And when things move rapidly, the only certainty you have is volatility. A lot of people probably were afraid

brought bought back in, oh, we're missing the, we're missing the pump, we're missing the rally,

right at market open, markets up over 3.5%. And then it trickles down. Ends the day negative.

So understanding what's really going on and what is driving that rally is key to not being caught on the wrong side of it.

That is why the most important part of investing we say it all the time is continuing to educate yourself.
