Then as the Met Gala, and if you don't know what the Met Gala is,

it's this massive charity event for all the fashionistas and Glitterati in North America.

It happened on May 6th, and Al Jazeera was banned from reporting in Israel that same day,

and that's when Israel initiated a massive bombing campaign and sent tanks into the south.

So they warned Palestinians to relocate at Al-Mawesi, a Bedouin town to the north, which, you know, can't accommodate 1.4 million people. And the IDF occupied and, quote,

unquote, secured the Philadelphia corridor, which they haven't, but the Philadelphia

corridor is the Israeli code name for a narrow strip of land, 14 kilometers in length,

situated along the entirety of the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt.

So this move is generally agreed to be in violation of the 1979 peace accords between Egypt and Israel.

We'll probably move more into that later, but we read Egypt's silence on this development to be,

at the very least, tacit acceptance of the IDF's prosecution of

this action on the part of the Egyptian government. Some would argue it's outright complicity,
