Summary

Hugh Glass is an older veteran trapper when he joins the Ashley-Henry fur company. In 1823, he suffers a catastrophic attack by a grizzly bear in the woods along the Grand River in what is now South Dakota. Against seemingly impossible odds, Hugh Glass survives his devastating injuries and begins a quest for revenge against those who left him for dead.
